A Tour to Urumqi
In order to improve teamwork cooperation ability, enhance team cohesion and relax, staffs of foreign trade department of Geemblue Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. went to Xinjiang for winter trip from Jan. 17 to Jan. 31, 2018. The tour attractions are Jiaochengguhe, Flaming Mountain, Kumutage Desert, The Silk Road ski resort, Kuytun Canyon, BaiHaba (extreme northwest Village in China), Kanas, etc.
Xinjiang is a very beautiful place, but we had not met her at the right time, because the most beaitiful view of Xinjiang is in summer. So what we see most in this trip is the snow and we were surrounded by the vast white scenery. What impressed us most is the experience of skiing: Skiing is a difficult sport. At the beginning, everyone could not ski well and fell down many times. However, some members of us could quickly comprehend the sport and learned it well, shared their experience with other members and taught them. In this event, although one of us got injured, we still felt the joy of sharing, assist and success. And we always know, that to unite as one and make mutual improvement is the key spirit of a team.
By the way, karez well of Xinjiang has a great ground water irrigation system and a channel for taking groundwater in drylands, which has a history of 2,000 years. A Karez well is usually about 3 - 10 kilometers long, and its construction difficulty and time cost is very high in ancient times. So Karez is known as one of the three major ancient Chinese projects. We were all shocked by the intelligence of ancient people. According to the tour guide, the melting water in Karen well, which is from the snow-capped mountains, contains minerals and is good for health, we can drink it directly.
